Question

The Member for Kipipiri (Hon. Wanjiku Muhia, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport: - (i) Could the Cabinet Secretary explain why the construction of Captain-Wanjohi-Geta-Ndunyu Njeru Road in Kipipiri Constituency has stalled, despite the project having been funded? (ii) Could the Ministry state when the contractor will resume works on the said road and provide expected completion timelines for the project? (iii) Could the Cabinet Secretary provide the measures that the Government putting in place to ensure that the said road is made motorable considering the importance of the said road to economic wellbeing of the area residents particularly, transportation of farm produce to markets?
