The Member for Kathiani (Hon. Robert Mbui, CBS, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Education:- Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) clarify whether public schools have the required teachers for subjects introduced in the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) namely Home Science, Foreign Languages and Sign Language, and what actions have been taken by the Ministry to ensure that public schools are provided with the necessary teachers? (ii) explain the measures put in place in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior and National Administration to ensure that all children are issued with birth certificates for registration purposes, thereby enabling schools to receive funding?
