Caroli Omondi, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport: - Could the Cabinet Secretary:- (i) confirm that project preparatory activities including designs, environmental and social impact assessments in respect of Lake Victoria Ring Road have been undertaken by Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) and therefore ready for funding? (ii) state when the construction of Lake Victoria Ring Road will commence? (iii) provide the status of the execution of the contract between the Government of Kenya and China Civil Engineering Construction Cooperation in respect of upgrading to bitumen standards of Mbita- Sindo- Makunga Road? (iv) state the commencement date for the construction works on Mbita- Sindo- Makunga Road and provide timeline for its completion?
