Gitonga Mukunji, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Co-operatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) explain why there is alienation of Coffee Co- operative Societies land and disposal of their assets by private individuals in Kipangazi and Mirundi coffee societies in Embu County without knowledge of their respective members? (ii) state the measures put in place to ensure that members of the Coffee Co-operative Societies are protected from such unscrupulous dealings? (iii) consider instituting an inquiry into the working and financial conditions of stalled Coffee Co-operative Societies in the country and present a report on their status?
