Jared Okelo, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Education: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) state the measures the ministry is taking to address the understaffing in all primary schools in Nyando Constituency and explain the immediate plans in place to address the shortage that is detrimental to the learning of pupils? (ii) Outline efforts being undertaken by the Ministry to gazette Nyando and Kadibo Sub Counties as hardship regions in order to attract and retain teachers who otherwise benefit from hardship allowance in the neighbouring constituencies of Nyakach, Muhoroni and Sigowet-Soin?
