Mary Wamaua, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) provide a detailed report on the total cost/value of the Mitubiri Sanitary Landfill project in Maragwa Constituency that was launched in 2017 by the Ministry? (ii) state the present status of the project and explain why it has stagnated for over five years? (iii) explain the actions the Ministry has taken to ensure environmental protection and human safety in light of the associated environmental hazards and risks posed by the landfill, given that no buffer zones have been provided for the project?
