Francis Sigei, EBS, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) state the cause of the inordinate delays in compensation of persons that surrendered land to pave way for various Government projects including the construction of the Sotik-Cheborge-Roret Road? (ii) provide a detailed report on the criteria used in compensation and state the timelines within which the Ministry will compensate residents of Sotik Constituency affected by acquisition of their land?
