The Member for Tiaty (Hon. William Kamket, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Energy and Petroleum: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) state the timelines for completion of way-leave implementation and compensation to the residents of Tiaty Constituency who have been displaced to pave way for road works and drilling pads by the Geothermal Development Company? (ii) explain why it has taken more than 10 years for the process to be completed despite the goodwill by the community? (iii) highlight the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, if any, that have been undertaken by the Geothermal Development Company to enhance the livelihoods of Tiaty Constituency residents?
