Titus Lotee, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Energy and Petroleum: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) explain why Kenya Electricity Generating Company Limited (KenGen) is systematically marginalizing the people of West Pokot County that host the Turkwel power generating plant by diverting all Community Social Responsibility (CSR) activities to other counties? (ii) explain why KeNGeN does not have offices in Turkwel where they have a power plant and instead prefers to have their offices 200 kilometres away in Sondu Miriu and Kitale? (iii) outline any CSR activities that KENGEN has carried out in Kacheliba Constituency and why the power generating company has not considered employing any liaison officer who shall act as a link between the company and the host community?
