Dorothy Ikiara, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) Explain why there has been a delay in payment of pension to retired civil servants, including the failure by the Government to implement the policies relating to retirement benefits in the country? (ii) Outline measure(s) the Government has putting in place to ensure timely, efficient and effective payment of pension to retired civil servants in order to guarantee their social security and enable them to live dignified lives?
