Amos Mwago, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Ministry of Youth Affairs, Sports and the Arts: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) Explain the status of current ownership and management of Muthurwa Dallas Social Hall in Starehe Constituency, which was constructed by the Kenya Railways Corporation around 1935 on LR No. 209/6502 as a recreation facility for its employees in Muthurwa and other surrounding Kenya Railway Estates? (ii) State the measures being taken to equip Muthurwa Dallas Social Hall with state-of-the-art training and educational amenities and reverting it to the community for nurturing talents, sporting activities, mentorship, recreational and educational purpose under the auspices of Muthurwa Residents Welfare Association? (iii) Consider gazetting Muthurwa Dallas Social Hall as a National Monument and a Hall of Fame given the historical significance of the Hall in nurturing talents and engaging Sergeant Suleiman Bilali Wanjau, a renowned Kenyan boxer, to nurture talents for young boxers and sports persons at the facility?
