John Machua Waithaka, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Health: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) Explain why anti-epilepsy drugs are not readily available in public hospitals forcing patients to source for the drugs outside the said hospitals at exorbitant prices? (ii) State measures the Ministry has put in place to ensure that the drugs are accessible and affordable? (iii) Indicate what the Ministry is doing to reduce the existing stigmatization and enhance public support for persons suffering from epilepsy?
