The Member for Mwingi Central (Hon. Gideon Mulyungi, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communication and the Digital Economy: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) explain the policy measures applied to identify areas to be provided with mobile telephony networks connectivity in the country? (ii) provide a list of areas that have mobile connectivity provided by the leading mobile telephone service providers including the areas with such services in Mwingi Central Constituency from 2017 to date; and what measures is the Ministry putting in place to ensure that all areas in the Constituency are connected with mobile telephone services by all service providers in the country? (iii) state whether public participation was carried out in the identification of sites for construction of telephone service transmitters, indicating the total number of persons who attended and who presided over the event?
