The Nominated Member (Hon. Umulkher Harun, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Education: - (i) Could the Cabinet Secretary state the tax exemption measures on sanitary pads the Government has put in place to ensure they are tax exempt? (ii) What measures is the Government putting in place to ensure equal and timely distribution of sanitary pads to all school-going girls, especially those in rural areas and informal settlements? (iii) What plans has the Ministry put in place to ensure efficient and sustainable ways of addressing the challenges experienced by young girls as a result of menstrual cycles?
