Question

The Member for Igembe Central (Hon. Daniel Kariitho, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport: - Could the Cabinet Secretary— (i) explain why the construction of Kangeta-Muutine- Kathelwa-Thuuru road has stalled since 2016, despite the wall fence for Thuuru Primary School being demolished to pave way for construction of the road? (ii) provide the plans the Ministry has put in place to ensure the completion of constructing Korre road in Igembe Central Constituency considering that it is in a dilapidated condition, hence it is impassable during the rainy season limiting the movement of goods and people in the region? (iii) state the timelines for completion of the said roads and measures put in place by the Ministry to ensure that there are alternative routes for the residents during rainy seasons?
