The Member for Kinango (Hon. Gonzi Rai, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) enumerate measures being taken by the Ministry to contain elephants that have been roaming within the farmlands of Kazamoyo, Chanzou, Mwarufesa, Chengoni, Mgamani, Dokata, Mgalani, Kilibasi, Busho, Kanyaka, Vigurungani, Nyango, Mbita, Kideri and Maendeleo in Kinango Constituency? (ii) clarify whether there will be any compensation for persons injured and farmers whose crops have been destroyed as a result of the elephants’ invasion?
