Robert Mbui, CBS, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Education: - Could the Cabinet Secretary— (i) provide an update on the status of preparedness by the Ministry to transition Grade Eight (8) learners to Grade Nine (9)? (ii) provide a report on the number of classrooms planned to be constructed and the number of classrooms that have been constructed? (iii) outline the plans put in place by the Ministry to ensure seamless transition of the learners in Grade Eight (8) to Grade Nine (9)? (iv) clarify whether there are adequate teachers to support the learners transiting to Grade Nine (9) and indicate whether there are any plans by the Ministry through the Teachers Service Commission to absorb
