Gitonga Mukunji, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Health: - Could the Cabinet Secretary— (i) explain why the Rehabilitation Fund, as established under Section 53 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Control) Act (Cap.245), has not been operationalized? (ii) provide a detailed report on the number, status and geographical distribution of rehabilitation centres operated by the Government? (iii) state the measures that the Government put in place to assist individuals struggling with drug and substance abused, including community-based interventions and access to public rehabilitation services?
