Paul Katana, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Education: - Could the Cabinet Secretary- (i) provide a status report on the level of compliance by public schools with the government directive requiring them to release withheld Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) certificates to former students, regardless of outstanding fees? (ii) clarify whether there are any disciplinary measures put in place by the Ministry for schools that are yet to comply with the directive? (iii) state the steps taken to ensure full compliance nationwide, and clarify whether there are any reporting mechanisms for cases of non-compliance?
