William Kamket, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration:- Could the Cabinet Secretary- (i) Provide a detailed explanation on the circumstances that caused police officers from Karenge’Choto operation camp to indiscriminately shoot and kill cows belonging to Mr. Ptesio Chepanda of ID No. 34184906 in Lemuyek Village, Chemuro sub-location, which was reported as OB No. 08/30/01/2025? (ii) state the action the Ministry is taking against the officers involved in the incident, particularly given their alleged misuse of an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) to carry out these acts? (iii) consider compensating Mr. Ptesio Chepanda given the significant loss he suffered following the shooting of his cattle valued at approximately Ksh. 2 million, and clarify whether there is a framework for restitution in such cases?
