THAT, taking into consideration the findings of the Committee on Appointments in its Second Report on the vetting of the nominees for appointment to the Offices of Cabinet Secretaries, laid on the Table of the House today, Wednesday, 7th August 2024, and pursuant to the provisions of Article 152(2) of the Constitution and sections 3 and 8 of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act, 2011, this House— (i) approves the appointment of the following persons as Cabinet Secretaries– a) Hon. (Prof.) Kithure Kindiki, EGH - Ministry of Interior & National Administration b) Dr. Debra Mlongo Barasa - Ministry of Health c) Hon. Alice Wahome, EGH - Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing & Urban Development d) Mr. Julius Migos Ogamba, EBS - Ministry of Education e) Hon. Roselinda Soipan Tuya, EGH - Ministry of Defence f) Dr. Andrew Mwihia Karanja - Ministry of Agriculture & Livestock Development g) Hon. Aden Barre Duale, EGH - Ministry of Environment, Climate Change & Forestry Mr. Eric Muriithi Muuga Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation h) Mr. Davis Chirchir, EGH - Ministry of Roads & Transport i) Dr. Margaret Nyambura Ndung’u - Ministry of Information, Communication & the Digital Economy j) Hon.
