THAT, taking into consideration the findings of the Departmental Committee on Defence, Intelligence and Foreign Relations in its Report on the Approval Hearing of a Nominee for Appointment as High Commissioner to Ottawa, Canada, laid on the Table of the House on Tuesday, 26th May 2026, and pursuant to the provisions of Article 132(2)(e) of the Constitution, section 20(2) of the Foreign Service Act, Cap. 185E and this House approves the appointment of Mr. Humphrey Mulongo Wattanga, EBS as High Commissioner to Ottawa, Canada.
