Liaising with family for burial of deceased pending murder trial
Question
Bearing in mind that a murder trial can last for many years, could the Cabinet Secretary explain or indicate whether there is a way his office can liaise with the family to have the deceased laid to rest, now that some ground has been covered and people have been charged? If they are waiting for somebody to be convicted, the case could go on for even 10 years. Is there anything he can do as a Cabinet Secretary to convince the family to have the deceased laid to rest?
