Assurance on no crisis in Department of Dental Sciences at University of Nairobi

Question

I would like to ask the Cabinet Secretary whether he will assure this House that there will be no crisis in the Department of Dental Sciences. I have listened to him very carefully and noted that he was very careful when he was responding to this Question. There seems to be a problem of human power. There is only one professor in that Department, one lecturer who has resigned and one whose contract has come to an end. Can he assure this House that he will administratively ensure that students from the University of Nairobi will not be left without training for that very important course, which is a matter of life and death? This is because it is about teeth and the mouth, and this is about life. Dentistry is very important; we cannot play around with it because it is also part of the core medicine.
