Fatuma Masito, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection: - Could the Cabinet Secretary— (i) state the supervisory measures and actions taken to ensure that the Leisure Lodges Beach Resort comply to the shop level agreement entered into on 9th August 2021 with the Kenya Union of Domestic, Hotels, Educational Institutions and Hospital Workers (KUDHEIHA workers) as well as implementation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) of 2019 to March 2020? (ii) explain why the Leisure Lodges Beach Hotel have unlawfully failed to pay their obligations regarding the payment of terminal dues and arrears of three employees, as per the agreement between the parties dated 28th June 2023? (iii) specify timelines for the payment of terminal dues and any outstanding amounts to terminated employees, and whether compensation will be provided for the unfair treatment they have experienced from their employer?
