Zamzam Mohamed, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection: - Could the Cabinet Secretary— (i) state the measures and actions taken to ensure that companies registered as export processing zones adhere fully to the provisions outlined in Article 41 of the Constitution and the Employment Act concerning fair labour relations for their employees? (ii) clarify whether the Ministry has imposed any sactions on export processing zone companies found to be perpetrating sexual harassment? (iii) explain the steps being taken to ensure that management within these zones respect the right of the employee to join a Trade Union for purposes of safeguarding their welfare?
