Gabriel Kagombe, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection: - Could the Cabinet Secretary— (i) provide details on the standard sum of Bond paid by migrant workers to recruiting agencies including the criteria used to set the figure as a standard sum across the agencies? (ii) explain why the Bond paid including the recipients of the payment and whether its purpose is to safeguard the rights and welfare of migrant workers during foreign contracts of service?
