The Member for Homabay Town (Hon. Peter Kaluma, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development:- Could the Cabinet Secretary— (i) explain the circumstances that led to the disappearance of records pertaining to Land Reference No. 13544/14 Nairobi, registered in the name of George Ouma Rombo (deceased), occurring during the ongoing digitization of land records? (ii) state the circumstances under which an entry has been made in the Land Records relating to the said Land Reference No. 13544/14 Nairobi indicating that this private property is now public property? (iii) state the steps being taken by the Ministry to ensure the records concerning Land Reference No. 13544/14 Nairobi are available and that the records are rectified to remove the said erroneous entry to enable the lawful dependants of the said deceased proprietor to deal in the land as ordered by the High Court in Nairobi Succession Cause No. 2149 of 2017: In the matter of the Estate of George Ouma Rombo? (iv) state the measures put in place by the Ministry to put an end to dispappearance and interference with land records across the Country?
