The Member for Chesumei (Hon. Paul Biego, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport: - Could the Cabinet Secretary— (i) Indicate when will the Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) release emergency funds for immediate construction of the damaged Chemuswo to Danger Road which has caused the residents of Chesumei to undergo extreme incoveniences as the Road is in a deplorable and impassable state? (ii) State reasons why KeRRA has not taken action to repair the only Bridge connecting Samoo and Kamurguiywo in Chemundu/Kapng’etuny ward that connectes the residents, maize farmers, and tea growing estates with Chebut Tea Factory in Kapsabet Town that has caused extreme inconvenience to them even after constant requests to the Director- General Kerra through its regional office in Kapsabet? (iii) State other measures that deem fit to mitigate the circumstances stated above as efforts to address the matter through KeRRA Headquarters in Nairobi have been in vain?
