Question

The Member for Sabatia (Hon. Clement Sloya, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport: - Could the Cabinet Secretary— (i) State reasons, why the Ministry has not installed speed bumps and set of rumble strips along the Stendi/Kisa-Kilingi B128 Road yet there are a number of accidents that led to the loss of lives of pedestrians, including students from nearby learning institutions? (ii) Consider the construction of a footbridge at Igunga Girls High School to separate the motorized and non- motorized traffic to mitigate the risk of accidents along this prone location?
