The Member for Westlands (Hon. Timothy Wanyonyi, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration: - Could the Cabinet Secretary— (i) Elaborate the Policy decision and rationale behind the use of unmarked, unregistered and distorted plates by the Police Force while on public missions on public roads? (ii) Explain the circumstances and provide a list of the different motor vehicles that are registered with similar registration numbers and the steps taken by the Ministry to eliminate the dangerous vice? (iii) Clarify why the Highway Patrol Unit has not reigned in the menace of stalled and unmarked motor vehicles along major roads, which are a cause of many accidents?
