The Member for Gichugu (Hon. Robert Gichimu, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Water, Sanitation and Irrigation: - Could the Cabinet Secretary— (i) clarify whether the Ministry has obtained approval from the donors to utilize the approximately 200 million in savings generated from the Kerugoya-Kutus Bulk Water Supply Project, which is part of the Kenya Towns Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Program? (ii) confirm that the said savings would be utilized for designing and construction of a water supply line to serve the residents of Gichugu Constituency who were not included in the initial project design? (iii) indicate when will the project extend to areas within Kabare and Baraguri wards including areas such; Nyaguthua, Kiangwenyi, Kiang’ombe, Kiangothe, Ngungu, Riakithiga, Kirong’e, Ithare, Kiamiciri, Wang’atia, Kiandai, Kagongo, Kianyaga, Rambithi, Kathata Kianjiru, Mukarara, Kabare, Karia, Rukenya, Kamigua and any other possible area?
