The Kenyan parliament is scheduled to reopen this week, and commentators are already predicting a stormy session. Among what expected to be the legislative highlights of the session are: the debate of the Constitution of Kenya Amendment Bill and the Constitution of Kenya Review Bill; the implementation of the new Standing Orders; the passage of the Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission (TJRC) and the Ethnic Relations Commission; the debate on the Opposition Bill and the Finance Bill.
